We use autofill in excel to automatically fill a series of cells following a certain pattern. It saves time and effort.

Autofill numbers in Excel
Fill the D5 cell with a digit and drag from the bottom-right of the cell to the down columns. You can use the “Autofill Options” menu as shown in the video to fill the series.

We can use the same process as shown in the above gifs. We can write the name of the month in a cell. Drag from the bottom-right corner of the cell to the bottom ones.

But if we want to use a pattern of alternate month names, we have to write the names of two months in two cells and drag both of the cells together.
